As I have mentioned before, I have an enormous pile of vintage, mostly skirts, that I have been wanting to sell. I’ve tried using a different platform, but I didn’t put much heart into it and I wasn’t willing to invest a little in order to really get it going, so it never amounted to much. This dress is one of the ones I’ll be selling! I bought it to keep, but every time I put it on I just don’t quite know what to do with it, style wise. It’s so, so pretty, but doesn’t quite fit into my closet. Plus, my husband thinks it makes me look like a Nurse, in a bad way. He’s like that with dresses that have this sort of lapel, haha! I don’t know why.

I’m super, super excited to open the shop; hopefully sometime this week it’ll launch. I’ve been having my husband help me photograph everything.

It will be chock-full of skirts and dresses that are anywhere from the 60’s to the 90’s, and they’re all pieces that I adore. But my husband has been *ahem* “encouraging” me to snap to it, so here we go! Honestly, if all of this stuff actually fit me (most of it is too small, or too big) I would keep it. I intend to only sell items that I would actually wear, because I think the best way to stock a shop is to put love into it!
