It was a perfect reflection of her personality – full of bright colors patterns and prints, and amazing vintage furniture and art. I loved her love me sign by Curtis Kulig in her bedroom, but didn’t really give it a second thought until recently. Then this pin popped up in my feed on Pinterest, and once again I was totally in love. But it got me thinking, are neon signs like a thing now in home decor? Is it acceptable to decorate with the signs previously reserved for and only seen in dive bars, and video poker establishments? Flash forward to after I did a  little more poking around the internets, and I’m convinced now – yes, this is a thing. Yes, you can put a neon sign in your home if you so choose. No, it won’t look tacky if done right. I really want one for the neglected breakfast nook in our house now, but I’m not quite sure it’ll play nicely with the rest of our home’s general decor. Right now, we’ve got a nice mix of modern, traditional and glam going on, but nothing too out there or different. I definitely do think it would make an amazing statement, but again just not 100% sold right now. What do you guys think – yay or nay or neon sign home decor?
