I've been a very lucky girl recently, receiving NARS products left, right and center (go on, hate me, I know you want to!). It's not actually a brand that I have ever tried before but I was so happy when I got them because they are so hyped up in to blogging world and I have wanted to try them for ages, whilst not quite being able to part with the cash!
First up, the blush in Dolce Vita*, described as a dusky rose on the website. I was so excited when I won this in Rebecca's giveaway and I couldn't wait to actually try it out. It's actually quite a hard color to put your finger on, red but not red-red, pink but muted and there is a slight berriness to it, coming out with a very flattering sheen. It comes out true to color when swatched and is amazing pigmented, perfect for giving a nice flush to the cheeks.
Then the lip pencil in Luxemburg* a bright watermelon color with equal parts of pink and red. The pencil is smooth and rich, gliding onto the lips effortlessly but still feeling nice and lightweight. On me, it lasts around six hours, starting to fade after that time but still leaving a nice stain on the lips. It is a perfect multipurpose product as it can be used a conventional liner or a lipstick, drying with a slight glossy finish.
Finally, the stick concealer in Pear*, which can be used to conceal anywhere on the face - from dark circles to blemishes. I've tried these types of concealers in the past but found them to be too heavy and greasy, luckily I have no such problems with this. It is so lightweight, whilst still giving a nice amount of coverage. And I love the packaging too, so slim and sleek, love it!
