Nars Eye Paint Review & Swatches! Hi lovelies
I was recently sent a few of the new Nars Eye Paints to try out and I thought I would share my thoughts with you all :) I'm kinda nice like that!
I was soooo super excited to try them because I'm a huge Nars fan. I always find their products to work well with my face and a little goes a long way with their products, which is good because I have a big face haha! So although their products can be quite pricey, they do last aaages.
Anyways, the eye paints are supposed to be eyeshadow and eyeliner 2 in 1.  The shades I was sent are all quite dark and I'm normally a neutrals kinda gal so I was a little bit apprehensive about them.

Nars Eye Paint Review & Swatches!

L-R - Tatar,, Black Valley, Snake Eyes & Interstellar

I was sent four shades;-
Interstellar - A vibrant silver with a slight blue undertone and is very glittery in the pot although doesn't seem to show like that on your eyes.
Snake Eyes - a black green color with fine hunter green glitter through it.
Black Valley - this one is the perfect eyeliner as it is a completely matte black, no glitter here!
Finally, I was sent Tatar - a deep purple with fine glitter, but the glitter isn't as noticeable with this one.
They are all super long lasting, they aet pretty firmly so I would say to use this product on its own. Blending is not easy with this product but its soooo worth it because the coloura are perfect for a statement eye or eyeliner.
I wouldn't say these are great as a base because theres so much shimmer in them so you'd definitely clash by packing a color ontop.
I love Snake Eyes, it is such a gorgeous color that I would probably use once in a blue moon for a night out but I would definitely use Black Valley as an eyeliner.
I thought these would be creamy, kinda like Maybelline Colour Tattoos and while theyre like that at first their finish is more like a stain.  There are 10 shades available and personally, I'd love to try the 'Mesopotamia' one which is a matte brown color for everyday use.
What do you think of them?
xxxxxxx
