A Poem dedicated to my Mom, for her Birthday.
Now that she has read the poem I wanted to share it with the world and also let her know how much I love her! You have always been there for me and Mikey, even though we raised a bunch of hell growing up…You never gave up on either of us.
Each time we would mess up or get in serious trouble you would always be there to catch us when we fell flat on our faces.
Thanks for always supporting me even when I was going down the wrong path on stuff even then,you still never judged me and I hope you know how much you mean to me and Mikey and everyone else who has the honor and privilege of knowing you!
You are the best mom in the world and you will always be my best friend, don’t ever forget that!
I could go on forever talking about my mom aka Momma Sherry as she is known to a lot of people, but this post is about/for her Poem so here it is:
A Mothers Pride
A mothers pride
is as strong as meteors falling from fiery sky’s
when mistakes are made and made they were
you always wiped the tears from our eyes
surprised by our menacing ways
you never gave up hope on anything on your worst of days
you are the reason I am alive and able to say
how much you mean to everyone, you are who we all turn to
never has a person lived who was so honestly true
about things that no one else ever dared
you always motivated me even when you yourself were scared
You gave up so many wishes and dreams
to give birth to me and my brother to witness our first cry’s & screams
tirelessly you worked so we could achieve
whatever we wanted and never failed to believe
that we were capable of anything, this even the blind has seen
nothing could draw you away from your kids or come between
Working so hard resembling a robot or a machine
we never went without anything not even the best of the best
you always made sure we had the trendiest toys and clothes
for everyone who has known you this they will know
the pain and sacrifice you had to undergo
You’re the only person alive who God created to glow
you are the best person ever and it surely shows!

Thanks for always being you! Through all the craziness I have put you through, you refused to give up on me and always had a stocked supply of hope and encouragement. You are the type of person that makes this world of ours spin and stay in orbit in space. Without someone so great like you around, I honestly think the world would be more lonely of a place, and those of us who have had the Honor to be around you would probably be a shadow of who we are today for what all you have done for us.
You are my one true hero, the one who I wish to be more like, the one whose strength would make Hercule’s himself fall to his knee’s from intimidation and gratitude!
Don’t ever forget that I am here because of you, and only you!
How I could ever thank you or repay you is impossible to fathom, but knowing you smiled so brightly and enjoyed this poem so much gives me comfort if only for a day, that what I am doing now is what I should be doing.
You being proud of me has been the best gift I could ever receive and the best feeling anyone could ever experience!
