Hello my bookish lovelies! Instead of a Feral Friday I am writing to you to inform that world that I am doing Nanowrimo this year!
I thought about keeping this post as a Feral Friday because I will most certainly be feral by the end of the month. I have done Nano once before and while I finished it I wouldn’t call the experience a success. I didn’t keep up a steady pace to my word count and I ended up taking about 5 days of doing nothing else but writing and smashing out over 30,000 words. I was a disgusting creature by the end of it let me tell you. I was really proud of myself though.
Now thing year I hope to do it a bit differently. I want to try planning more of my structure and story and sticking to a set amount of words per day/week. I didn’t like most of what I wrote at the end of the last one but I hope with having more of a plan and not just doing a whole bunch at once I will end up with something I can work on at a later time to create something I am proud of.
I think I will try and give weekly updates so I can keep myself accountable and so I can better see my progress, what I am good at and where I need to put more work.
