A signature scent is your fragrance personality. It's the smell that captures who you are and the scent that people recognize as you. I picked this up on my first trip to Europe in 2007. This scent holds particular memories for me which once sprayed reminds me of happy times traveling around Europe. Miss Dior Chérie was released in 2005 to coincide with the 100th anniversary of  the design house Christian Dior.

This fragrance has a very youthful and feminine feel to it due to its sweetness from first application to the dry down. I am not the best at describing fragrance so here are the notes as described by Perfume Reviews:
Top notes – wild strawberry, cherry, mandarin orange, pineapple;
Middle notes – jasmine, violet, rose, caramel, popcorn;
Base notes – white musk, patchouli, amber.
I love how light and girly this scent is, it's never over-powering and layers well with other fragrances. As you can see from the notes above it a very sweet and fruity perfume. I am often drawn to perfumes with notes of musk, patchouli and jasmine as this is a common theme within my collection.
I am never particularly drawn to advertisement campaigns but the print campaigns for this perfume over the years have been some of my favourites (another being Chloe). I love the image of Sofia Coppola being carried away by balloons over the roofs of Paris.
It's one of those perfumes in my collection I never want to be without.
What is your signature scent? I'd love to hear your favorite perfume. Please leave a comment below.
