My Make-Up Storage

My Make-Up Storage
When it comes to storing things I am organisation obsessed. As sad as it sounds, make-up drawer is my pride and joy and I put a lot of effort into organising it.I keep all of my hair/make-up/beauty bits in a 3 drawer chest from Ikea. I love it because the drawers are huge so you can fit plenty in. They are also quite deep, so things such as foundation bottles stand up which is really handy.

I like to keep the surface on top of the drawers drawers pretty empty and clutter free. As you can see I just have a mirror, my Lauren Conrad beauty book, a little pot from South Africa with hair grips in, and my pot of make-up brushes. For this set of drawers I bought a piece of glass, also from Ikea, to prevent the top of the drawers getting dirty, as this is where I do my make-up. The little place mat underneath the glass is just to add some decoration, they came in a set of 4 from Home Sense.

So moving onto the drawer itself, as you can see its pretty full. Believe it or not I did have a huge clear out when I got my new furniture. So instead of rambling on, I will list what I keep in here from left to right: - Hand/nail care items, as when I'm lying in bed at night I like to do my nails. - Then I keep all of my palettes in that handy little box from a place called Clas Olsen - that box was made for my palettes! - Next is my concealers/bronzers/blushers and powders. - Then in the middle is my lip products in a little box, and in front of those I keep my moisturisers, primers and foundations. - Next I keep all of my mascaras/eye liners and single eye shadows. - Then finally on the end I have another one of the little gray boxes containing all of my bangles/bracelets as they had no other home in my bedroom. The pretty white wire tray I store everything in is from Home Sense. And I'm afraid I'm not sure where the clear plastic trays are from but I'm sure you can find something similar on eBay/Amazon.
