My Life Ambitions! When It Clicked And How I Knew!

My Life Ambition!I remember when I has about six, I wanted to be a Vet or Doctor. Then, when I has nine, I wanted to be a horse riding instructor. After that, when I was ten, I wanted to be a actress/singer/superstar - cringe. But now -even though I am still very young- I know that in the future, I would like to have a career in fashion journalism. Fashion really inspires me. I love how it's like an art and a way you can express yourself. I love going shopping, not necessarily buying clothes. In shops when I'm looking at clothes I want to buy and making outfits in my head with the things I have and the things I don't even have. I usually get my inspiration from all sorts of magazines.

When Did It Click?
I found that I was asking myself so many questions. I was really panicking (even though I am 13 and still have PLENTY of time to decide) what profession should I choose? And how will I know if that's what I want to do? What about if in the end I regret doing that? But then I realised that I should decide to do the thing I love the most, because that is something I would be excited to do everyday. If it's a word, there's bound to be a profession of it. However, if there isn't one, create one!
Lucky there is such thing as fashion, so I didn't have to make that it up.

When I get a magazine for one come throughout the door, I will get my post-it notes a mark all the clothes I like, outfits I think look really good and accessaries that are really unique

For Christmas I was very excited to receive this design book. In this book you can create and experiment with colours and clothing, make-up and more!

I also got a model drawing book. I love this because I can draw and add textures to my designs and play around with collections I would love to make come to life.

When watching Ugly Betty the other day I saw she had created a 'idea book'. so I have made one to. This is were I put everything I love in. My own designs, blog post I love and everything in between.

I love to put to scrapbook magazine cut outs and then put them in my folder. I put all sorts of things in here. My favorite page in my scrapbook is my 'Dream' page were I have all my ambitions and what I would like to do with my life. This includes moving to Manhattan, New York to peruse my writing career.

I always annotate my cut outs so I know were they are from, what year they were in the magazine, and what magazine I got the picture from.

I cut out the things I like or that I would like to be able to pull off.

I love using different textures in my scrape book. Here I used string to put a 'tree branch' effect. I did this because I had a lot of shoes I wanted to put in my scrapbook, but I wanted it to look neat and artistic.
