My Favourite Craft Books

By Teaantoast @teaantoastblog
I spent most of Sunday morning feeling really inspired and wanting to get my craft on. There was only 1 problem, I had no idea what to make.

I have a whole box under my bed full of craft supplies and a huge bag full of fabrics, why do I not know what to make. I decided to get out my favourite craft books and get inspired! I posted this picture on Instagram and thought I'd share a few of my favorite craft books as I adore them and can easily (as I did Sunday) spend hours flicking through them and getting all sorts of ideas.
MY FAVOURITE CRAFT BOOKS My first one is this Mollie Makes Christmas: Living and Loving a Handmade Christmas. This is the book I was reading in the instagram picture. It's got loads of Christmas craft ideas in for gifts and decorations. The instructions are easy to follow I just wish the templates at the back were more to scale. My best friend brought me this last Christmas and it's been a favorite of mine ever since.

Another favorite of mine is this DoodleStitching: The Motif Collection, I brought this from Amazon when I was looking for craft books. I love doing cross stitches and wanted to move onto something similar so I brought this book to try out some embroidery work. Truth be told I've only actually used it once but I find it a joy to flick through. MY FAVOURITE CRAFT BOOKS MY FAVOURITE CRAFT BOOKS MY FAVOURITE CRAFT BOOKS
This next one I LOVE so much! I love the idea of having things around my house that I've sewn and made and every time I look through this book it makes me want to do just that! This Sally Walton Home Sewn Home book is easy to follow, lots of beautiful images and a massive inspirational read.

Then we have my queen, Kirstie Allsopp, I love this women - All her TV programs, all the books, all the events gah I just love her! My boyfriend brought me this book for my 22nd Birthday and there is so many projects in here that I want to try. It isn't just one craft either, there are loads of craft projects in this book with really easy to follow instructions and again of course the images are a dream to look at! Kirtsie Allsopp Craft, I highly recommend.
