My Birthday weekend | & presents that made me cryMy Birthday weekend | & presents that made me cryMy Birthday weekend | & presents that made me cry I've finally got around to writing about my birthday weekend! - Only 2 weeks late..With uni work piling up & graduation sneaking up far too quickly, I regret that Little Bo Blab is taking a back foot lately. But I'm back, scheduling a tonne of posts & hoping for some time to blog between working at Christmas!  So, my birthday. It pretty much started at 1am, Creature burst through the flat like a baby elephant after having a few drinks with work to celebrate his promotion, with a card and small chunky wrapped box in hand. I had no idea what he was planning on buying me, & I never expect people to buy me anything grand.. Honestly I'm chuffed with a new pair of slippers!
So when I opened the wrapping to find a wooden box embossed with "Michael Kors", I burst out crying before I'd even seen what was inside!
He had bought me my dream watch.. I've been in love with the rose gold Michael Kors watches for some time, & Creature had actually promised if I get a 1st in my degree that he would buy me one as a congratulations gift.. But never would I guess that he would buy me it for my birthday. It's safe to say I haven't stopped looking at it since getting it altered to fit my little wrist.  Later in the afternoon, after breakfast, a swift shopping trip & having my nails done. We were on a train and of to Liverpool to see my family for the first time in months.
I spent my Saturday making the rounds to my Dads, and grandparents houses - Time flying too quickly & umpteen cups of tea slurped in record time.
My Dad, the absolute legend, read my birthday wish list & actually got his paws on the limited edition GHD Sapphire box set for me, something I had promised to buy myself after Christmas! - They haven't disappointed either, my hair has never been so poker straight! (much to Daddio's annoyance - he loves my natural ringlet curls) But using them to create manageable curls works an absolute treat too!
The weekend was finished off with a party at my Mama's house with old friends & family. & as you can see, the birthday girl indeed got her cake.. Or well.. Squirty cream! - Cheers Daz!
Mama bought me an absolutely gorgeous kimono, along with a few other key wardrobe pieces I'll be putting together into a style post very soon. As well as some money towards my tattoo fund. I hope to get my next piece done in the new year - So stay tuned for that.
& finally, I'd just like to say a huge thanks to everybody who made my birthday weekend so special - Love to you all & see you in the new year!
