My 10 Skincare And Bodycare Favourites

By Triedandtestedblogger @triedtestedblog

Having tried countless skincare and bodycare products over the past few months, I’ve compiled 5 of my favorite skincare products and 5 of my favorite bodycare products from the bunch to share with you all!

If you suffer from eye bags, tired looking eyes and have dry skin around your eyes, this Restylane Eye Serum is for you! It is absolutely amazing at perking up the eyes whilst hydrating the skin around it. It comes in an easy to use pump bottle and a little really goes a long way. My holy grail eye cream used to be Eysilix but this product might just take the cake!

For a night cream that will leave your skin looking well rested, smooth and healthy, the Garnier Miracle Sleeping Cream really impressed me. It has an interesting bouncy texture but once it has been patted into the skin (it takes slightly longer to apply than a regular cream but its worth it!), it leaves it feeling smooth and plump without any tackiness.

Having heard rave reviews on products from the Philosophy brand, I had high hopes for the Renewed Hope In A Jar Dry moisturiser and it did not disappoint. I’ve used this both as a day and night cream and it has honestly transformed my normal-dry skin by not only hydrating it and eliminating any dry patches but it’s smoothed over my skin texture and the appearance of pores have been reduced. The cream itself is slightly scented and has a very light texture that’s a dream to apply as the skin soaks it up immediately.

The Beauty Chef Beauty Fix Balm has become a staple in the handbag as it’s the perfect all in one multi-purpose balm that will hydrate any dry skin, whether it be dry lips or patches of dry skin on the body or face. The balm hydrates and smooths dry skin without leaving it feeling or looking oily, making it perfect for on the go applications.

I personally feel as though a serum makes such a difference in a skincare routine and during the colder months, I went through a whole bottle of the Avene Hydrance Optimale Hydrating Serum. I found that it helped smooth the skin and absorb more hydration from the moisturisers I then applied on top.

The QV Shower Milk is a fabulous addition to your in-shower routine if you’re not a fan of applying a traditional body cream as it provides a great level of hydration with quick application. The apply and rinse off formula provides a quick and easy boost of hydration to the skin without leaving any heavy residue. It’s perfect for the whole family and being soap free, wont irritate any sensitive skins.

Another multi purpose product I’ve recently been loving is the Physician’s Formula Ultra Nourishing Argan Oil which can be used on the nails, hair, face and body. It’s a great product to work into dry cuticles, to leave on the ends of the hair to reduce dryness or frizz and I’ve been enjoying mixing it into a plain body moisturiser for an added hydration and smoothness.

For intense hydration and a natural glow to the skin, the Garnier Beauty Oil Nourishing Lotion is the perfect body cream to pick up to get the skin ready for Summer! Featuring 4 oils, the lotion is easy to work into the skin and not only intensely hydrates skin but it also adds a natural glow and health to the skin.

If you suffer from KP (Keratosis Pilaris), the Neostrata Ultra Smoothing Lotion 10 AHA is a MUST TRY! I’ve tried quite a handful of products to try and combat my KP and help reduce its appearance and this body lotion is one of only 2-3 products that I’ve found to work! The lotion is light in texture and easy to work into the skin, leaving absolutely no unpleasant sticky or tacky residue on the skin. After weeks and weeks of use, the KP on my upper arms and legs have definitely noticeably reduced, which is fantastic! It is suitable for use on the face, hands and body.

The Black Honey Coffee Scrub is a lovely option if you’re not a fan of loose body scrubs as it comes in a tube for easy use and works well to exfoliate and smooth the skin without leaving any residue on the skin, instead hydrating it without that heavy feeling.
