Mozilla has partnered with Panasonic to release its first Smart TV powered by Firefox OS, bringing the HTML5 app ecosystem to living rooms. “Casting” content from a Firefox smartphone, browsing the web, and accessing TV on-screen notifications from applications are among the best features of the Firefox OS Smart TV.

“We’ve made it easy to find your favorite content and applications or customize the user interface on our Life+ Screen 4K Ultra HD Smart TVs, powered by Firefox OS,” said Panasonic’s Yuki Kusumi.
