Move It Monday: Cold Weather Layers

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

We are in Colorado this week skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling and while it is warmer than Minnesota I still need a few layers that keep me warm and wick sweat. Nothing worse than being active outdoors and feeling damp from sweat. That’s how you get sick! Since we are going out and being active most day I needed a few more layering pieces that are great for those chilly days. I am pretty much living in leggings and workout tops this week! If you are in the market for some new layering pieces I highly recommend the following.

C9 Lined Leggings. Target to the rescue with cozy and warm leggings that happened to be on sale last week. These are great under my snow pants for snowmobiling and it’s nice to have a pattern besides the old standby of basic black.

Cuddl Duds Women's Softwear Base Layer Top With Stretch" target="_blank">Cuddle Duds Base Layer. Nice and thin, keeps your warm and quickly absorbs any sweat. I wear these under a 1/4 zip or layering piece.  Cuddle Duds just happened to be my favorite because they are so soft!

Reebok Cold Weather Space Dye Cowl Neck Tunic. I love that this covers the booty and is perfect for any outdoor activity or for that apres ski time. Because I am so fancy like that. Not really but I like to be cozy. It was half price at Dick’s Sporting Goods. Love a good deal.

Another Reekbok option that was 50% off, cold weather compression tights. These are awesome for cross country skiing. I like have a tight layer and if it’s in the 30’s I can just wear these skiing. Perfect for those sunny, warmer days.

And you need to keep your head and neck covered too! I love this Polar Fleece Neck Warmers Snood Scarf Hat Unisex Thermal Ski Wear Snowboarding" target="_blank">fleece neck warmer and Columbia Women's Trail Summit Beanie" target="_blank">Columbia Beanie that has a ponytail hole. Having longer hair right now I always have it up for activities and it’s nice that the hat actually fits my head instead of having hair all bunched up under it.
