Mother from Iowa left her four children home alone to go on a two-week vacation. Erin, 30-year-old, has pleaded not guilty to charges for leaving her young children going to a planned vacation in Europe.

Police officers went to check Erin’s home after the father of two of her children called the police and explained the whole situation. Fortunately, the call was made only two days after Erin left her children alone.

According to police reports, they confirmed that nobody was lined up to be with the children. They have further explained that Erin have talked to some family members to take care of her kids but all of them refused since it was pretty long period and those members already had conflicts watching the children in the past.

“She thought her children are grown-up enough to take care of themselves.” – a family member later said.

When the police arrived in Erin’s home, they found all four children. Luckily, all of them were good. The oldest one, 12-year-old, was preparing to feed her younger siblings at the time.

The mother is now facing charges.
