October, the tenth month of the year and one of seven months with a length of 31 days. October is associated with the season of autumn, and when we celebrate Halloween.October's birthstones are the tourmaline and opal, and the birth flower is the calendula. So what did we get up to:
October is busy for us, with lots of birthdays:, my Mum, two of my nephew's, two of my nieces, my step-daughter and my step-son, and my cousin.
And then also...
Paul and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary together - the two of us went out to a lovely restaurant, ate steak, drank wine, talked and laughed. We talked about what the next 10 years will be like and what we have, to look forward too.
What else we got up to...
We had a super relaxing 'lazy' half-term, stayed in most of the days, and done art and crafts and watched Frozen again and again and again.. sigh.
Halloween, we always throw a party at home, go crazy on the decorations, cook chilli and hot-dogs. We took the kids out trick or treating, come back and ate.
I had a visit from a photographer to take snaps of me, for a Daily Mail shoot - it's about me grinding my teeth and the affect it has had on my life. But it was fun to have some professional photos taken. (the guy was asking me to keep a straight face, but Jacob kept telling me to smile)
For my niece's birthday the whole family went out for a lovely meal - The restaurant has an indoor and outdoor play area, which was nice for all the kids.
