5.7 Monsieur Bleu, listed as at 13, avenue du President Wilson but actually more accessible from 20 Avenue de New York, in the 16th, 01.47.20.90.47 (but don't bother calling during the day, they only pick up at night) open 7/7 (Metro: Alma or Iena) was a place I went to with one of my favorite fellow bloggers because it's near where she works and admittedly was on my famous "list" of 100 places that have opened in the last three years I haven't yet been to.  It's a bit hard to find, even with the arrow-sign, tucked away on the lowest level of the Palais de Tokyo, but has a splendid terrace, minimal noise from the street and both beautiful people and nice-looking, albeit pricey, food.

Our firsts were Wow!/simply spendid/can'tdomuchbetterthanthis dishes of crispy nems with lovely lettuce and just spicy enough sauce and supions and chirizo with another spicy sauce.  I thought we were cruising for a great meal.

Ah, full-stop!  Our mains were just so-so and at their prices, one expects much better from plain old half-cooked tuna and frogs' legs with a weirdly overly-bitter garlic/parsley crust.  Much better.

We shared a glass of strawberries and mascarpone and mini-macarons which was not bad, as was the bottle of Bourgeuil we had.

Our bill, with all of the above, no bottled water but two coffees (4.30 E - see what I mean) was 131.60 E.

Go?  Well, like the sidewalk outside that had many cracks as well as skateboarders and ladies of the afternoon - it's a decidedly mixed bag which considering the price, does not cry out for a repeat.
