Monday Mood- Turban Hat Style

By Saumya Shiohare @myriadmusings1
Can't believe how fast the weekend went by. It was a weekend of parties and more parties. The weekend was chock-full of so many parties, that we had to take a pass on a few. My apologies to friends that I couldn't meet and thanks to others for the awesome weekend.
Now let's change gears and talk a little about the turban hat that I am wearing in this look. Guilty pleaded, it was again an impulse purchase: blame it on the sale tag.....whomp whomp ! The idea behind wearing such statement head gears is to look chic and put together without any effort on those bad hair days. Every woman has an ocassional tete-a-tete with a bad hair at least one every other week, and the easiest way to combat a day like this is to throw on a chic turban hat.
Today's post is special, coz this look here is dedicated to all those cancer patients, who have lost or are in the way of loosing hair as a result of their aggressive treatment. I can't relate to the pain and the physical anguish, but I could do my part to be supportive. A sweet friend suggested I style this turban hat in three different ways- one each for a dressy, office-appropriate and a casual-affair attire. Today's outfit is slightly on the dressier, bohemian side. The black maxi dress, the harness belt and the statement earrings: all speak dressy to me. This heat wrap would equally look good with shorter, more tapered pencil dresses too.
It could be a struggle for some of you to style such a bold head piece like this one, but trust me it is way easier to style  than you would have thought, plus I am there...... So stay tuned for more looks coming to your feed soon............!
