Moliendo Café

Posted on the 05 March 2014 by Veronica Lopez

Every touristic city has its street artist showing their crafts to the visitors and pretty much everyone who crosses their path. This one I took it in an alley in Venice when I was about to eat a delicious Venetian dish and drinking Aperol Spritz. I clearly remember that the man was playing Hugo Blanco’s Moliendo Cafe, one of the most iconic songs from my dear country Venezuela; which is very curious since Venezuela means “Little Venice” or Veneziola, a name given by Amerigo Vespucci in 1499.
