MODERN COUNTRY - Caroline Clifton-Mogg
I love when the Press sends me a book to review! I feel like a kid in a candy shop because I truly cannot get enough design, art or travel books. I only post the ones that I love and obviously this is one has passed the post test! Caroline is a writer and journalist who's specialty is interiors design, antiques and gardens. Of course I love her already. Caroline has written several books and writes regularly for magazines and newspapers. She also lives in my favorite city, London.Caroline has shown us in this lovely book how the French incorporate the 20th century modern luxuries into old spaces that have been converted. repurposed or renovated. The modern country style is strongly influenced by rural values which allow it to be warm and family friendly, basically all the things we love about country done with contemporary flair! I am sharing some of my favorite images with you, but there are so many to see that I suggest putting this little beauty on your list of must haves.
