I'm not sure what's going on with all of this rainy and gray weather we've been having in England, but I really wanted to feel summery yesterday so I treated myself to a couple of bright nail polishes from Models Own. In Boots they were offering the nail art pen free with two purchases from the brand, so I picked up Balearic Cool and Beach Party.Beach Party is a very bright neon orange colour, the pictures dont really do it justice but it is a very vivid color. The formula was thick and smooth so it only needed two thick coats to achieve maximum results.
Balearic Cool is a neon blue, but not quite as bright and vivid as Beach Party. The formula is also not as thick so it required three coats for an even finish. Saying that I still think the color is amazing!
Overall both colours are stunning and very easy to work with, they also look really nice with casual simple outfits.
I thought the nail art pen was great fun and extremely easy to use. It features a double ended thin liner brush and dotting pen that you can use to create all sorts of different designs.You can also find this contraption in different colours in Boots :-)
