I hope you liked reading my last post. My today's review is of a an eye shadow I have been loving lately. Well summers have already begun in India and during summer it is always sensible to wear less make up and ideally go for colors in make up like pinks, peaches and nude shades in lipsticks and for eyes it all depends on your choice. Well I would prefer shades like this one to perk up my mood. I shall be reviewing Miss Claire Eye Shadow in Teal - no. 0453. Let us find out more about this eye shadow in my review today.

The eye shadow is a mono/single eye shadow which comes with a transparent screw type lid. You are not provided with any sponge tip applicator or a tiny mirror along with this eye shadow. The name of the brand is printed on the lid itself. The whole list of ingredients is mentioned at the back. There is no name to these eye shadows but a number which you may have to take a note of if you like the shade and want to repurchase.
The shade is a blueish green color i.e a mixture of blue and green. Hence I would say it is a medium dark Teal color. It has a satin finish and contains tiny gold shimmer. It goes on smoothly on the eye lids. I generally use a patting motion while applying eye shadow as it does help in the eye shadow to last long. Of course primer is a must with any eye shadows now a days so with this one. I do not have any eye primer so I use a concealer and foundation to neutralise my lid area which also acts a good eye primer or use Garnier BB cream as an eye shadow primer. The eye shadow lasted me whole day and never went patchy or creased on me. There was not much of a fallout and hence I like it even more. Given the price this is the most inexpensive and good quality eye shadow you can find in the market. I have created a simple eye look using the eye shadow in the pictures above. Hope you all like it.
The Good:Decent pigmentation.Stays on the lids almost all day.Does not crease.Less fall out.Decent packaging.Very inexpensive.The not so Good:Availability is a major issue.Color may or not be everyone's favorite shade to sport.No sponge tip applicator or mirror provided.

Miss Claire range of eye shadows may be difficult to find in small cities but are available in metros like Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata as far as I know. Do check out the small make up shops in your area. You won't find these in malls. I highly recommend this teal blue eye shadow.
