Minkpink Global Campaign '12

By Britishcouture
Grasping inspiration from street style, vintage classics & influential Catwalk trends, those who have not yet heard of Minkpink can expect a casual and laidback brand featuring hippy/bohemian style dresses, floral prints, formal shirts, chunky knits, vintage shapes/styles, all thrown together with some very unique and beautiful prints.
So the story goes. Minkpink started back in 2005 when they first hit the Australian fashion scene with their collection. Hoping to offer something new and different, Minkpink clearly struck a chord as they've gone from strength to strength and continent to continent with their signature Minkpink personality. Inspired by everything from vintage classics to high end designers, Minkpinks collection is made to work with your existing wardrobe - matching your personality whilst accenting your individual style. (I was naughty, as this paragraph is not my own, and was taken from the Urban Outfitters site here)
Considering myself as perhaps a 'fashionista' I can honestly admit that I hadn't actually heard of Minkpink until they contacted me at the end of last month asking me to check out their 2nd Global Campaign. I was quite chuffed I have to say. So here's a sneaky peek at the photographs I was sent. They are currently redoing their showroom in London which I have been invited to take a peek at when its finished. I will take my snap happy camera along with me.

As their first global campaign was such a success, their second, which is just as impressive, has opened up new horizons for the brand. Minkpink have seeked to create a unique and exciting playful brand with an element of sophistication, and if you are looking for something that little bit different, Minkpink is your answer. Their style promotes a combination of both vintage pieces and highly expensive Catwalk influences, which together create a impressively unique style. They succeed best at offering something fresh and new, yet at the time in keeping with current trends, so that their pieces feel at home in your existing wardrobe. As they always say, you maximise the best out of your wardrobe when you work with what you already have, adding things that compliment existing pieces.
Out of all the photographs I love the two piece cropped top and pants with that gorgeous daisy design, but I also love the outfits of the two girls in the tea cup. There is something so vibrant and colourful about their campaign which promotes such a playful and laidback feel to the Minkpink brand. I can see this brand going far.
Minkpink currently have collections with Urban Outfitters here and Asos here. They also have a website where you can see more of their campaigns, and also follow their blog here.
What is your favorite outfit from this campaign? Have you heard of Minkpink? Do you own anything Minkpink?
