Minibar – a New Trend

By Amsterdam City Tours

Minibar – a new trendAt Minibar, you don’t have to wait to be served or make a thousand-and-one attempts to flag down the bartender to place your order. You won’t have to shoes through a sea of bodies  to get to the bar and no shouting over the thumping music and loud chatter at the bartender.  No need to complain about the service at this bar. Here, you serve yourself.

When you come to Minibar, a €5 deposit gets you a key which gives you access to one of the 45 refrigerators on location. Whether flying solo, on a date, or with a group of friends, you have free reign over the premium quality beverages and snacks packed into your very own minibar.

Beer, wine, liquor, soft drinks and juice, water champagne or Prosecco, whatever your poison, you’ll find it in your minibar. Soak up the alcohol with the smoked almonds, wasabi nuts, and La Española olives stocked in the minibar or order from the menu of sushi and Chinese dishes.

The atmosphere at Minibar is laidback and the music is good. Inside, top interior designers have left their mark, making for a trendy yet relaxed setting.

After you’ve had your fill and are ready to leave, simply return your key to retrieve your €5 deposit. As for the drinks and food, you will only be charged for what you consume. And there’s nothing in the world quite like serving yourself from your own personal minibar.

Minibar is located at Prinsengracht 478 in Amsterdam and is open Tuesdays-Thursdays and Sundays from 18:00-1:00 and on Fridays and Saturdays from 18:00-3:00. Visit the website at http://www.minibaronline.com/ for more details and to make reservations.
