The progress on the design is really coming along now that I’m just down to two jobs instead of three and the sky is quickly coming to a finish.
Of course by “coming to a finish” I mean I just have a page and a half left, which feels like progress to me.
It’s hard to talk about how fantastic I think this sky looks over and over again because the pictures really don’t do justice to the actual piece. But if you can, see how the various shades of blue layer each other? It looks almost 3D. I wish I could stitch faster…

I feel like I’ve been making good projects with books too. I just finished American Heiress which was surprisingly even better than I expected. I also just bought a copy of Joe Hill’s new book and received a few advanced reader copies on Net Galley to sink my teeth into (yes, pun intended, but only if you know the title of Hill’s new book.)
I’m also excited about Joyland coming out and the sequel to The Devil Wears Prada. Be prepared for an epic “what to read this week” post. So many good books coming out and all of them are finding their way onto my reading list.
