Xiaomi is bringing its phablet Mi Max to India end of this month. Hugo Barra, Xiaomi’s Global VP announced today on Twitter. Mi Max is the company’s “largest smartphone yet” and was launched in May 2016 in China.

The phone comes with a 6.44-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 342 pixels per inch. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card
Max comes with a 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. It runs Android and is powered by a 4850mAh non-removable battery. It measures 173.10 x 88.30 x 7.50 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 203.00 grams.
Mi Max is a worthy option for people who want a large screen device for multimedia consumption, however, do not want to carry a tablet as they lack calling features. Mi Max is priced at RMB 1,499 (approx Rs 15,333) for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant with Snapdragon 650 and the 4GB RAM and 128GB of memory variant with Snapdragon 652 of the Mi Max costs RMB 1,999 (approxRs 20,451).
