Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punch

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
Maybelline's new balm has far exceeded my expectations as far as texture and formula go. I am a little iffy on the color of Pink Punch. It might be fine for spring/summer, but not for fall. But like I said, I love the texture and the fact that it has SPF 20. It isn't sticky or thick. It goes on really smoothly and feels more watery than other balms, if that makes sense. Watery sounds like a bad thing, but in this case, it is good. It leaves my lips feeling nicely hydrated, and that feeling actually lasts. Maybe not the full 8 hours like they claim, but a lot longer that other lip balms I have tried. The color also stays on a long time, which really surpised me. Especially for the price point. It was $2.99 at Wal-Mart and I certainly intend on buying more. I am not sure I will buy another tinited one, but I will get the peppermint balm. If I do get another tinted, it will either be Peach Kiss or Cherry Me. I am a little scared to see how purple Grape Vine would be. But all in all, this is a great product and worth a try. I have had no problems with irritation or sensitivity. This balm does have a slight fruity smell, perhaps like mango. But it smells nice and does not linger.
And excuse my one scary eye, lol. My red eyeshadow is challenging to get off.
