Yes, the fat lady blew out a knee!
Tore my ACL and meniscus and injured my lateral ligaments.
When this happened it felt like my knee and leg twisted in two completely different directions.
I was in a lot of pain but I didn't know how bad it was, so I stayed and just watched everyone until it was time to go. As I watched my kids play a game of dodgeball my knee throbbed!
This intense game then turned into a wrestling match. So worth sticking around to watch.
I went home and slipped on a skirt so that I could go to the emergency room The skirt made it easier to look at the damage I had done. :)When I was checking in at the emergency desk the lady asked where I was when I did this. I accidentally said IHOP and she laughed because she knew I meant ijump. That's when I told her, maybe I should have gone to IHOP.
They put me in a brace and on crutches.
So now I just wait for eleven days until I can get in for surgery.
So while I wait...

Yes I really use this!My husband said let's buy a shower seat and I said no, grab me one of the lawn chairs...
and these are the bruises from my crutches.
We don't play well together.
Because of all this I haven't been good about doing any projects and adding them to others linky parties. Sorry about that. Hopefully I will not be down for too much longer.
