Maxi Shirtdress for Spring

I have always loved a shirtdress; they fit my personal style aesthetic of being classic yet available in great prints, I'm able to adjust the neckline, and I love how they can dress up or down with a change of footwear and accessories.

So when I was checking out Chico's New Arrivals, I was immediately drawn to this green printed maxi dress. A poly/spandex blend, this dress looks like matte jersey yet has a bit of stretch for comfort and fit.

With a self-belt (meaning I can remove it and replace it with something else), pockets, and fabric that will roll up and stay in place, this is a dress I can glam up for Easter or Mother's Day or dress down with Birkenstocks and a sun hat for casual weekend wear.

Having a large bust, some shirtdresses don't fit me on top. I never have that problem with Chico's, though I do have a safety pin between two buttons so it stays closed at the bust even if I bend and stretch. No need for security anywhere else, even when sitting I found everything stayed closed and covered.

For now while the weather is still occasionally chilly, I styled this maxi shirtdress with tall heeled boots. However, this dress could look great with flats, pumps, flat and heeled sandals, and even a pair of trendy sneakers.

Unfortunately, at the time of writing this, this maxi shirtdress from Chico's is out of stock in a lot of sizes. Below I have a gallery of maxi shirtdresses in a variety of sizes and pricepoints:

My earrings are from Baublebar. I have on three bracelets: this bangle from REALM, this bangle from Metal Marvels, and this bracelet from Rellery that is engraved with a phrase our family often uses.
