Yes doctor, we feel your pain.

With competitor ranks growing and marketing budgets shrinking, it’s harder than ever to promote medical and veterinary services.

Many offices get relief with signage.

Placing banners, posters, window signs and counter cards throughout the office and exam rooms is a proven but underutilized way to educate patients and pet owners, and ultimately, increase monthly cash flow.

Build Trust, Open Doors
In the confines of a medical office, even small signs command attention. While waiting, patients and pet owners have multiple opportunities to see and contemplate your messages. Repeated exposure drives interest, which can open the door to trust-building and cross-selling opportunities.

Educate, Market, Grow
In-office signage is a great way to inform people about sudden or seasonal health threats, like an outbreak of flu (or fleas). Exam-room posters, for example, have shown to be effective for encouraging checkups, inoculations and other healthy choices.

Many successful providers also use banners, window signs and counter cards to promote medically appropriate but potentially profitable services or add-ons:

  • Dentists: offer patients a percentage off X-rays or teeth cleaning.
  • Vets and groomers: entice pet owners with discounts on shots, tooth-care or nail trims.
  • Family practitioners: reward referrals with a free gift card or movie pass.
  • Chiropractors: invite new patients to enjoy a free therapeutic massage.
  • Dermatologists: stimulate sales with a tempting skin-care product promotion.

Keep it Short & Sweet
Even though you have a captive audience, people won’t spend a lot of time reading a lengthy tome. Be brief, and where possible, use attractive, relevant visuals to grab attention. Over time, messages like these can have a positive effect on patient relations and repeat business

  • “Happy with your care? Please refer a friend.”
  • “Need a follow up? Schedule it today.”
  • “Like us on Facebook.”
  • “Follow us on Twitter.”
