Manmohan Speaks Tough to Pakistan on Kashmir

Manmohan Singh: "There is no scope of Pakistan winning any such war in my lifetime."

During the budget session of the Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) Council, Pakistan's Prime Minister reportedly said:
"Kashmir is a flashpoint and can trigger a fourth war between the two nuclear powers at anytime."
This statement appeared in Pakistani media.

Centre STAGE

Reacting sharply on his counterpart, when asked by reporters during a function in Delhi, Prime Minister said:
"There is no scope of Pakistan winning any such war in my lifetime."

BOTTOMLINE

However, Nawaz Sharif's office has now clarified that the media report quoting him was "incorrect".
