Remember me telling you about my favorite beauty store, Trade Secrets? Well, I had another good haul from them again, and this time it was all about the Essie Cashmere Matte Collection. It features six nail colors in soft matte shades with a touch of satin texture.
This was my first time trying matte nail polishes and I’m in love! These neutral and pastel shades are great for this season, and the glittery satin finish is just the right touch to give you the perfect look for a night out.
If you’re a fan of neutral colors and would like to explore new nail polishes as I did, here are the ones I tried: The Coat Couture was the richest color of those three. After two coats it looked pretty dark with a touch of a greyish blue tone. Wrap Me Up on the other hand (literally) was quite pale, so I applied 3-4 coats for more texture which made it last longer. I decided to have a little bit of fun with Just Stitched and exerimented with my new Essie base and top coat.
As first-timer with matte nail polish, I can say I’ve found a new favorite polish. You can get the Essie from either online or in the Trade Secrets stores.
