Manasbal Lake Located at a considerable distance of about 28kms from Srinagar,
the summer capital of the state of Jammu and Kashmir, the Manasbal Lake is counted as an offshoot of the Lake Manasarovar. It is one of the most exotic lakes of the Kashmir Valley, thereby captivating tourists from both national and international level. The Manasbal Lake presents a stunning view. Pinpointed in the Jhelum valley, the Manasbal Lake is truly a sight to behold.

How to reach Manasbal 

By Air- One of the simplest ways of accessing Manasbal is by air. Located at a distance of about 30kms from the village of Manasbal exists the nearest airport at the Badgam District. 

By Rail-One can also reach Manasbal via railways. The nearest railway station is at Jammu from where it takes at least 30mins 

By Road-Manasbal is well connected to the other places of the northern state of Jammu and Kashmir via roads. Roads are one of the fastest and easiest ways to reach Manasbal. 

Best Time to visit

The Manasbal Lake can best be visited during the months of July to October where the weather and beauty of the lake is at its zenith of glory.
