Today my review is for a very common problem that a lot of women face- Stretch marks. These can happen because of different reasons, few of them being loss/gain of weight, pregnancy or genetically. Asian women tend to have more stretch marks in comparison with women in other continents. My experience with Mamaearth Body Cream For Stretch Marks
Product Packaging:
The cream comes in a very large tub jar of about 100ml. It has a huge plastic white cap. The packaging is very basic and not that attractive. It is available only in one size. The cap seals the product well and keeps it hygienic. The jar is really huge, so I wouldn’t call this a travel-friendly product.
Texture/Consistency:
This Mamaearth stretch mark cream comes in a very thick texture, it is more like a cold cream. It does not blend easily since it is not light weighted. The cream takes a lot of time to get absorbed almost 30 minutes!
Fragrance:
It has a strong smell, so people who have a problem with strong fragranced creams wouldn’t like this product. However the smell does not last long, it goes away within 10 minutes of application.
Hydration/Effectiveness:
It is a wonderful product, especially for winters. It gives a very good amount of moisturization without making my skin dry or flaky.
I have been using this product for over a month now. I use it every single day after a bath. The product takes time to work on stretch marks, you cannot expect any cream to give immediate results especially when it comes to treatment of stretch marks.
In my case, the product worked showed visible results in like 2 weeks. My stretch marks have started to fade and the skin is really improving. Because of cocoa butter, my skin texture feels better and definitely the cream has added a bit of visible glow.
Most people worry about the harmful chemicals that most of the skin care products have, especially if you are using the cream daily. However, this product has zero harmful chemicals and is absolutely paraben free. This formulation makes the product safe for daily use.
