Makeup Revolution has been creating quite a lot of buzz in the blogosphere recently, and with their amazing range of products on offer, I knew that I had to get my hands on a few bits from the range. With positive reviews left right and center I couldn't wait for my products to start arriving, and with the amazing, 'revolutionary' low prices, without scrimping on quality (FYI the packaging is amazing for such a cheap brand, very similar in quality to something like Revlon) and not testing on animals - another massive bonus, my wish list was filled up high.

Possibly the most talked about thing from the range, the eyeshadow palettes seem to have been going down a storm with everyone who has bought them. At only £4 each, and looking pretty *ahem* similar, to the Naked palettes, it's no wonder. Already owning the Naked 2, and finding it hard to get much everyday wear from the shimmery shades, I decided to opt for the Essential Mattes Palette. This is what the Urban Decay Basics Palette should have looked like, 12 neutral matte shades, with some slightly more out there colours like the purples and blue, and two shades that are perfect eyebrow colours, this is perfect for traveling with, and creating a neutral, subtle, everyday look. All the shades are really great quality, and not chalky at all, which I was worried about given the price and the matteness - very impressed! Going along with the theme of eyes, I also chose the brow palette, and my current one was pretty much all gone. I'm really impressed with the quality and lasting power of this shadows, and the wax works really well to set everything down in place. Another very impressing product!

Next I decided to go for a couple of the lipsticks, and at only £1 each, I can definitely see a lot more of these being added to my collection in the future. I got the shade Divine, a beautiful pink, coral color that looks a little scary in the bullet but actually looks really pretty on, and the matte finish means that it will stick around for a long time. Then from the #happylips range, I got the shade Love a Hug, a gorgeous sheer fuchsia. I love the idea for this - a richly pigmented lipstick in the middle surrounded by an argan oil outer core, which makes it incredibly moisturising and comfortable on the lips, the perfect everyday formula. The baked blush in All I Want is You also found its way into my basket, a gorgeous soft peachy pink with gold shimmer that gives a lovely glow to the cheeks, and negates the need for a highlight completely - it actually reminds me a lot in look of the Hourglass Blushes. It has a nice pigmentation, and lasts well on the skin, an all round winner, especially for £2.50.

The range can be found in Superdrug, or alternatively is free to order online worldwide, with free delivery when your order comes to over £30 - not hard with all the amazing makeup to choose from. I've already got my eye on a lot more of the range ... watch this space!
