Maggie Holmes Design Team : Vacay Cards

By Jcchris
When I was looking at this Sunkissed pattern paper, I was already thinking of a long overdue beach vacation. I immediately thought of a fun idea that was to create cards for girlfriends, a couple of besties or a bunch of mummies having a much needed break. An invitation for a beach vacation, how fun is that? And Sunny Days have tons of fun travel + beach pieces for you to choose & create!
Maggie Holmes Design Team : Vacay CardsAs usual, I love fussy cutting illustrations and that sure popped that idea of creating these fun invitation cards. These are really easy & fast to create. When creating more than one card, I will always try to keep them looking similar to achieve the cohesive look. And of course with that idea in mind, I won't have to spend too much time recreating the cards.
Maggie Holmes Design Team : Vacay CardsThe kraft base sure gave the beach vibes that I wanted. The kraft color sure reminds me of sands. I added some white splatters to make the card a little interesting + it looks fun. After adhering the fussy cutting illustrations onto the card, I lifted some corners by adding foam dots for dimension. Completed the cards by adding fun sentiments. Truly enjoyed creating these cards.
