Maggie Holmes Design Team : Love You

Hello again! Do you find yourself out of mojo sometimes or just don't know where to begin? Whenever I am in that state, I will try to play around with embellishments and papers. I will layer my papers, add embellishments and reposition them as I go. This process will sometimes spark ideas or create a look that I never thought of doing so at the first place. This layout is exactly what I did.

 I started with blue background paper and layered along with the embellishments as I go. I wasn't happy with just the blue as my only background paper. So I cut more strips of other background papers with matching colors in mind and layered them together. The black & white dots sure elevate the fun colours. To finish it up, splattered some gold mists for an arty look. I really loved how bright and happy the layout turned out to be, just like my little bubba bear :)

I am so in love with the embellishments in the Gather collection. So many textures and beautiful designs to choose from! 
I chose not to journal on this layout but instead adhered stickers and sentiments to express my words!
