Maggie Holmes Design Team : HAPPY

By Jcchris
My eldest daughter is such a huge fan of Disney princesses. She has a great collection of princess costumes and dresses. Well, that's because I like buying all these cute princess costumes for her too *ahem*. She especially loves wearing them to school & yes, she is the only girl who does that in her school! Haha. Whenever she asked to wear her princess costume, I'll take the opportunity to snap a photo.
While I was browsing her costumes, I drew the inspiration of her Princess Sofia's dress. Princess Sofia is a little girl who has a special amulet that she uses to communicate with the animals in the castle and forest. With that, I knew I have to include some of the beautiful animal elements that I can find in the Bloom collection.
Maggie Holmes Design Team : HAPPYAnd how can I leave out that pretty swan patterned paper?! It goes perfectly with all the cute animal elements. Just by using some pretty medium like gelatos & ink splatters on the background, it sure enhance the whole layout.
Tip > Don't be afraid to use more than one design of patterned paper on the layout. Be sure that the design/color matches well when they are used together.

Layering chipboard stickers & the ephemera pieces together sure create amazing texture and dimension. I love how all of the elements piled up onto each other. Just too cute!Maggie Holmes Design Team : HAPPY
