Say hello to the 'Indulge Me' box...
PACKAGING
The box is pink and is accentuated with Rose Gold text. I absolutely love using the boxes for nail polish storage and for packing miniatures into for going on holiday. Another really good hack is to save your boxes throughout the year - wrap them or decoupage them and use them as gift boxes at Christmas time! Brilliant!

INITIAL THOUGHTS
The most exciting products for me were the Coffee Scrub and the Ciate Wonderland Mascara. One criticism I have of most beauty boxes is the lack of makeup items. I always find I get masks and skincare but usually makeup is lacking. In this box, there are two makeup bits but for me, I'd have loved to have seen a couple more for a change. Having said that, to be fair, this is an 'indulge me' box which implies masks and skincare would be heavily featured.
So, let's take a look at each individual item..
SKIMONO HAND MASK
This is definitely the most unique item in the box. I've always used hand creams but I've never used a hand mask. These are like gloves that you secure using the tabs provided and are packed full of moisturiser. It says on the packaging that you needn't wash your hands afterwards but for me, the oily feeling was a little bit too intense so I rinsed my hands gently. It definitely does as it says and the dry cracked areas in between my fingers have all but gone!
LANCER THE METHOD: POLISH
I tried this on the back of my hand and wasn't overly impressed with how it felt, but thought I'd give it a go. I'm so glad I did! This has very fine 'grit' to exfoliate the skin and where a lot of people might hate how rough this is on the skin, I love it. If I'm using an exfoliator, I literally want to scrub a layer off my skin or it's just not doing it's job haha! This is definitely a 'use twice a month' kinda scrub, but I'm definitely planning on purchasing the full sized product.
MONU FIRMING FUJI FACIAL OIL
This seems to be making the rounds in beauty boxes right now and I have used it before, but I'm glad to have another spare one. This is a great size - a very small amount goes a long way. I like rubbing this into the palms of my hands before pressing it onto my skin. I like that it feels relatively light and it does hydrate the skin. I like using this right after a shower. My only criticism is that this has a screw top opening - even mini versions should have a dispenser in my opinion.
BEAN BODY COFFEE SCRUB
The smell of this is every coffee lover's dream. It smells like an espresso in a pouch. I'm a fan of coffee scrubs but this for me was a bit of a faff. There was no 'scoop' to collect the scrub so digging into the pouch with wet hands in the shower was messy AF (It went under my nails :( ) I did like how well this scrubbed my skin but it was messy and took a lot of rinsing to get rid of any residue.
MODEL CO INSTANT RADIANCE CONCEALER
Being so pale skinned is a pain in the arse sometimes. I love how this feels on the skin, it has a great coverage and consistency without creasing too much in fine lines, but sadly their lightest shade is much too dark for me and this also oxidises as it wears.
CIATE LONDON WONDERLAND MASCARA
I've never tried Ciate mascara before - everytime I go to try out one I get in a beauty box, one of my pesky sisters takes off with it. This time, as soon as I opened it, I tried this out. It has a regular sized bushy mascara wand and applies really nicely. I'm really fussy about mascara and am quite specific about what I want from a mascara and this sadly doesn't fit the bill for me, though I would say this is the ideal mascara for someone who wants good length and doesn't mind a bit of lash clumping.
OVERALL
I was pretty impressed with the box. I was most disappointed in the concealer and the coffee scrub but if I'm honest, I'm yet to find a concealer from a beauty box that is light enough for my skin and every coffee scrub I've tried come in pouches. I would suggest a wee scoop or similar for using the product and rinsing twice as much as you normally would. The skincare items for me were an absolute hit, especially the Lancer product. I'd repurchase it time and time again!
