London Eye, the New Landmark of London

By Zubitravel @zubitravel
Who would have thought that a giant Ferris wheel built in 1999 will become in such a short time a landmark and symbol of London. Many tourists now compare the London Eye of London with The Eiffel Tower in Paris and after all they are right, both buildings are spectacular in engineering and architecture and both serve the same purpose, they give people an amazing view of the city.
Regarding the architecture you should know that it's indeed an impressing structure, each of the 32 capsules weighs 10 tonnes and the wheel is indeed huge.
Here are some pictures of the wheel and the views it offers during the 30 minute ride.
