London College Trip Continued.

By Littlefashionthoughts
So here we are again, back writing about London it's been two days since we were there and we kinda miss it already. The atmosphere of London is brilliant it's so carefree and there is always something to do or somewhere to go. We loved how the people were – though a few quite rude, we loved how they just wore what they want and nobody cared.

After the Natural History Museum we walked a few steps down the road to the Victoria and Albert Museum, across the road from the museum the building caught our eyes and once again we fell in love with the artistic look of the buildings.

Once inside the Victoria and Albert Museum we made our way to the David Bowie exhibition but once we were inside we were asked not to take any photographs or create any sketches – which was disappointing but understandable. We both had different opinions on the David Bowie exhibition, let's just say if you're a fan of this man get yourself down there!

Once we'd left the exhibition we took a seat in the 'courtyard' of the V&A museum, with the sun overhead it made the setting look so pretty and it was so nice to sit in the sun with the rest of the class by the 'pool' or water feature – honestly not quite sure what to describe it as.

After we finished up in the museum we took a trip to Oxford Street, god almighty that place we weren't so keen on. It's so so so unbelievably rushed, everything is so big, you don't even know where to look. So we weren't exactly keen on it, there was too much to look around and we had one hour and it must have taken us twenty-five minutes to walk half way up the street. For the first time in our lives we came into contact with a Forever 21 a shop myself– Devon, has always wanted to go into.

After an hour spent on Oxford Street we were all waiting for everyone to appear at the meeting point, so while waiting Alana and Kimmy treated themselves to a crepê, also while they were eating it we all had a huge debate on whether it is better savory or sweet. Alana - sweet, Devon - savory.

While we were in London we saw masses of advertisement boards, which many taking our interests and we couldn't help but have photo's with a couple of them. Alana took her pick of her future husband Jason Statham while I had my choice of Star Trek Into Darkness film poster, which I cannot wait for at all.

By half past four we were on the tube heading back to the car park, by this time everyone was exhausted from the hour we woke at this morning. Most of us looked like zombies as we swapped trains and trailed through the tube station.

At five thirty we were finally on the minibus to return back to good old Yorkshire, but most importantly we were able to finally eat as most of us had gone all day feeling as if our throats had been cut from our stomachs. Guaranteed the best pasta I have ever eaten, mainly because we all waited so long to eat.
We stopped off about seven that night for a 'splash and dash' as Paul called it, another opportunity for caffeine to be bought by Alana and our friends. Oh and it was also hilarious watching our tutor Gwen walk to the wrong minibus at the other side of the car park bearing in mind that that mini bus was white and German while our is the gray one next to another white one, bloody hell Gwen.

Overall, London was a fantastic experience and will be a indented memory in all of our minds as our first trip as a class and friends together. So until next time London, goodbye.
