For Christmas shopping after my Legal & Illegal London Walk, head for Twinings on The Strand, a tiny narrow shop facing Royal Courts of Justice. It's on the site of the original teashop and not only do they do every conceivable type of tea, loose and bags, but also do lovely compartmentalised wooden boxes which you can fill with teas of your choice, an ideal gift for the tea lover!

Angela
Angela is one special actress. "She's so good it's almost impossible to compliment her", as Frederic Raphael, the author of The Glittering Prizes, said of her performance in that award-winning series. A similarly smitten Clive James said of her Helena in the Royal Shakespeare Company's All's Well That Ends Well: "You couldn't ask to hear the words better spoken". Angela leads the Legal & Illegal London Walk on Friday afternoons 2pm meet at Holborn tube.
Christmas 2016 With London Walks…
On Christmas Day there are TWO London Walks: Walk up an appetite with The Christmas Morning 1660 Walk – meet at 11:00a.m by the big tree in Trafalgar Square
Walk off the pudding with The Christmas Day Charles Dickens Walk – meet by the big tree in Trafalgar Square at 2:00pm
A London Walk costs £10 – £8 concession. To join a London Walk, simply meet your guide at the designated tube station at the appointed time. Details of all London Walks can be found at www.walks.com.
