as I wind up the music box
its melody remains a secret held within
a poem solemn
I begin to hum this hymn melancholy the notes flowing freely then
the chorus marches fast again this rhapsody I play
the sound flutters forth through the course of my mind
a secret held within
left to play to the sound of the music box over and over again
