Little Learners Books: Review

By Ourbabyblog @OurBabyBlogx
We were very kindly sent a couple of Little Learners books by Parragon to try, I was so excited to receive these as Abbie is such a little book worm at the moment, after reading her one story she then reaches for the next..and the next..and so on...

The first book was Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, a cute little book with gorgeous illustrations! But what's better than a book with colourful pictures? A book that makes sounds, oh and lights up...that's what!

Needless to say that she loved it! Even Daddy's singing (strange child), so I sang along whilst showing her the buttons as we flicked through the pages, her eyes watching my hands and figuring out how to do it too, she loved the owl hooting, we even had giggles when we pressed it!

Next, we were sent the "I Am Busy" book, with pull out pictures to help get your little one more involved, featuring bright and colourful illustrations whilst gently teaching them the ways of life, with lots of different animals featured throughout, there's something new and exciting on every page. Abbie loved helping to pull out the tabs too, and even though she couldn't quite pull them out herself, her hand went straight to them just a few days after reading them for the first time, a milestone that made me well up! Little things! :)

I can't recommend these enough! Both books really encourage your little ones to join in and also improves their hand eye coordination. In a day and age where technology overruns pretty much every form of our lives, I really think its important to spread the word about reading to our little ones, it's a perfect opportunity to stimulate their minds and also help build on their language skills, plus it's a nice chance to have that much needed quiet time with them! With other fab stories including many more nursery rhymes as well as first words and animals, along with adorable little Buggy Books, Touch and Feel, Finger Puppet and much more, you'll find something for your little one!How often do you read to your little ones?Visit the Paragon website for more books!Or any of your book stores!
