Since I don’t have a crafting bone in my body (Candie Cooper I am not), this is the closest I have ever come to creating something I am totally and completely in love with since the pet rock I made in Girl Scouts. I take great pride in my state. I guess when you’ve been to so many little Indiana towns and met so many incredible people along the way…well, your state doesn’t seem quite so impersonal.
Indiana is not just a farming state. It’s not just an Indy 500 kind of state. No, it’s a friendly state. A place where people still wave, smile, or at least give the head nod while walking past you downtown–if they don’t stop and ask you how you are doing outright!
It’s where Summer nights are spent on porches watching the world go by. Where everyone is so interconnected it can take a lifetime to figure it all out!
