The burgundy/oxblood trend is huuuge this season and if you want to jump on the bandwagon and sport this color on your lips, get Lime Crime's Velvetine lip color Wicked. Lime Crime Velvetine Wicked

I am a big fan of liquid matte lip colors and always on the lookout for new launches in this category. The Velvetines have always been a favorite and there are very few brands that can match their pigmentation and staying power. And I also think they have the prettiest packaging. The doe foot applicator is a bit difficult to maneuver because the tip is slightly thick. You do need to spend some time to get a perfect finish and I'll always recommend lining your lips first before filling in the color and again after you have applied the color. This just smoothes out everything and gives the perfect lips.

Like I said, the pigmentation and staying power of Wicked is amazing. One swipe is enough to give deep, dark lips and the color stays on for at least 7 hrs without budging. Even if you eat and drink! It does dry out lips though like any lip color that is super matte so you need to take extra care.
