LFW Designer Showrooms: Top Picks SS14

By Annamoss84 @missanniebean
Each time I visit London Fashion Week I always look forward to visiting the established, and upcoming designers in the LFW Designer Showrooms.  I decided to get up early and head along to kick start my Sunday morning and take in some of the creations.  For this section of my LFW coverage I've selected my top picks from what I saw from clothing and accessories.

1. Sophia Webster  LFW Designer Showrooms: Top Picks SS14 One of my favourites to see at LFW is quirky footwear designer Sophia Webster.   After seeing her debut collection for SS13 this collection really ticks the box for SS14 with vibrant colours and feminine shapes.  Popular Hi Sandal designs are now featuring patent neon vibes, plus an adaptation of peep toe laces up with off pinks and cut out details.  One of my favorite things about Sophia's designs is the push the boundaries but are very on trend... plus I love how she throws a few exceptionally cute and quirky in their too (see twinkle toes image)   LFW Designer Showrooms: Top Picks SS14LFW Designer Showrooms: Top Picks SS14 LFW Designer Showrooms: Top Picks SS14 LFW Designer Showrooms: Top Picks SS14  My favorite from her upcoming collection has to be the white points with the floral cluster detail on the front.  Extremely feminine with beautiful detail makes these the perfect partnership for the summer season.  LFW Designer Showrooms: Top Picks SS14 LFW Designer Showrooms: Top Picks SS14
 2. Martine Jarglaard LFW Designer Showrooms: Top Picks SS14 Danish designer Martine showed off some of her upcoming collection for SS14 by featuring elegance in every piece. The beauty of Martine Jarglaard designers is even though they are elegant but it's very subtle and sculptural.

3. BEN - DONG LIANG

Like most women I'm a sucker for handbags, whilst viewing the wide selection of accessories I felt myself drawn to the collection by BEN DONG LIANG.  The smell of soft leather immediately enticed me to go and investigate further.

4. Emma J Shipley

I discovered Emma J Shipley at London Fashion Week a few seasons ago and ever since I've been hooked.  Scarves should be an accessory priority along with your bag and shoes, so making sure you select good quality is a must.

Emma's designs are out of this world with many featuring birds or butterflies, but even though when those creatures are used in fashion they often can be too feminine, these look effortless and very stylish.  This time she was telling me how she has mixed fabrics to give the scarves a new look instead of a standard silk or cashmere material, this teamed with the beautiful colours make her latest collection a must.
5. Zoe Jordan

I was lucky enough to go to the Zoe Jordan catwalk show in the BFC showspace, but I was desperate to see the range close up in the showrooms.  From the catwalk all the items for SS14 were absolutely spot on with Zoe's flare for feminine inspiration with boyish charm.

I adored the Zoe Jordan graffiti tshirt which was very 90's inspired but worked very well with this collection.  I think her combination of structure and relaxed designs make this a superb collection from Zoe Jordan... infact its my favorite yet.
