Let's Talk Primers.

Let's Talk Primers.Using a face primer is a fairly new thing for me, I've dabbled with them before but never really could see the benefits up until now that is.
I currently have four different primers that I have really been enjoying using and thought I would share them with you.
The first two are quite similar, the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer (£12.50 Smashbox) and the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser. (£7.99 Boots) They both have a very silicone texture to them and are great for evening out the skin and making pores look smaller.
I always worry that heavy silicone primers will break me out but these don't and they help my foundation stay on longer.
Another primer from Maybelline is the Baby Skin Instant Fatigue Blur in Cool Rose. (£7.99 Boots) This is a pink toned primer and has more of a runny consistency than the pore eraser one. It does help to smooth everything out and create a good base for foundation but I really love how this just perks up the skin when its looking dull. It is fantastic primer for when my skin is looking gray especially this time of year.
Lastly is the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer (£29 Space NK) which is probably the most famous. This has a really light texture to it and feels more like a moisturiser whilst applying, it definitely feels more lighter on the skin than the others. I find this a great primer for everyday use when my skin is not playing up in anyway and it just helps my foundation glide on and last that little bit longer.
I don't think I could pick a favorite out of the four primers but I do think the Maybelline Baby Skin Primers are great especially for the price.
Do you wear a face primer? Is there any you recommend?
