Friday’s Quotes for the Chicks

We see things more than just with our eyes.

Boy, when dolls start showing up dressed like little chicks you know that this whole backyard poultry thing has definitely gone mainstream (not that I’m objecting, I purchased one didn’t I?)  Hoo-ray for people being graciously supportive of the gentle role chickens have in their lives.

And speaking of, we have a chick returning to the nest this weekend for college Spring break. I’m busy getting the ingredients ready for a week of his requested (and missed) home cooking.  And yesterday’s photo of that snow finally broke me, we are now family members of the local YMCA where we will go on a semi-regular basis to walk, play, swim, and move our bodies during this never-ending cold, cold snow-filled winter season.

Be safe, stay warm, and see you all next week.
