Background influences for October
This month the Sun is passing though your 3rd and latterly your 4th houses so you will experience a busy first half when you will be running around doing errands around your local area and you may be forever on the go dealing with phone calls & emails - the pace of life may be quite hectic. You may get to know people in your local area including your neighbours quite a bit more during this time. This is a great time to start some type of new studies, as your mind will be bright and alert. One thing for sure is that you will not be able to relax during these early weeks of October. From the 22nd of the month the energy of the Sun will shift and as it does you will be more concerned on family issues and domestic affairs.
Mercury for most of the month is moving through your 4th house so your thoughts and emotions will also be drawn to what is happening at home. Domestic situations and matters involving your parents will take up more and more of your time. This is you in a more reflective mood, and you will be drawn to assess things that happened in the past. Events that affected you deeply in previous years will need to be analysed so that you can work out why they happened in order that you can solve any current problems or issues in your life. This is a great time for discovering your family roots and studying your genealogy or you may have the inclination to settle down with a good book to lose yourself in an imaginary world, rather than facing the world that you are currently in.
Venus is passing through your 2nd house of money, finances, possessions and self-worth. It is true that when Venus passes through the second house you do tend to attract more money to yourself, but then again as soon as it is in your hands you will be sorely tempted to spend it and your need for making your life more rich through acquiring possessions is really enhanced. You may want to show off by buying a new car or treating yourself to new clothes, whatever makes you feel internally better. If you are investing now, your judgment should be good and any financial negotiations should progress quite smoothly.
From the 5th through to the 7th 3 planets all change signs, Mars into Sagittarius and Mercury and Saturn simultaneously into Scorpio. As this switch happens and in the following weeks, you will be in a competitive mood and you will want to exert your creative side of your character, although at home life will be quieter and you may have deal with issues relating to one of your parents.

Early into the month and on the 3rd October we have a Venus Neptune opposition squared by Mars. This opposition occurs along the cusp of the Virgo/Pisces axis and occurs across your 1st and 7th houses.Here we have the issue of how you see yourself balanced by what your partner wishes to have. As we hit mid month, the New Moon in Libra on 15th will occur and things should suddenly get busier. On the 17th Uranus receives a double hit from Mars and Pluto. This is a stimulating aspect that is fun especially if you are trying out any new challenges, hobbies, sports or if you are on your travels. Maybe you can learn new skill that eventually can lead to a change in your everyday work life? Be careful as this can be a risky aspect too, and it will make you slightly more accident prone than normal. On the 25th October, the Sun meets Saturn in Scorpio trine to Neptune. Matters of local significance like education or he state of your environment, or perhaps situations involving your brothers, sisters or neighbours can come to the fore. If you are dealing with these type people at this time, try and make sure that your message gets through clearly and then you can make progress in what you want to achieve.
At the end of the month, we have a full Moon in Taurus in your 10th house that opposes Saturn. May be you will have found a solution to any issues in your work life, or maybe you will be plunged into the spotlight there. A sudden opportunity may arise for you to do new and exciting new tasks.
